How Miss Archer spends her summers: I love spending the summer at the pool! The past two summers I have enjoyed helping with camp at Trinity, teaching swim lessons, and helping to coach a summer league swim team.
What Mrs. Atkinson loves about teaching at Trinity: There are many things I love about teaching at Trinity; one of them is the sense of family Trinity creates. Trinity has always felt like a second home to me. I started as a kindergarten student, attended through eighth grade and returned as a teacher when I graduated from college. There is genuine care and respect between the teachers and students. Trinity is a place that students look forward to coming every morning, that they miss during the summer, and that they want to visit after they graduate.
Mr. Bentzley's favorite hobby: Tennis. I've been competing in tournaments and leagues for over 20 years and enjoy teaching youth tennis. It's a great sport that can be played for a lifetime.
Mrs. Buckley's favorite place at Trinity: My favorite place on the Trinity Campus is my kindergarten classroom. It is warm, welcoming, and inviting. It is happy, colorful, stimulating, and full of smiling faces. Many happy memories are made here every day. There is nowhere I'd rather be.
What Mrs. Connell loves most about teaching at Trinity: Teaching my children about different virtues through our day to day lessons. Also, instilling values into their lives. These virtues and values are a foundation for forming good Christian citizens and leaders in our society.
What inspires Miss Finn: Nature inspires me every day . . . especially on this beautiful campus.
What inspires Ms. Frock to be creative: Working on the annual Mardi Gras float inspires because I get to be creative with a new idea every year. I also enjoy experiencing the students' creativity.
Why Mr. Godfrey likes working at Trinity: The teachers and staff are a great set of people to work with; I enjoy helping the teachers so they can teach the students.
Mrs. Greer's favorite place to spend her summers: My favorite place to spend the summer is at the beach. I love to sit and listen to the waves with a good book to read. We love to ride bikes, visit friends and take walks together as a family.
What makes Trinity special: Here at Trinity we offer hope to students who need to learn in different ways and to their parents. The reading resource students and Julie students I have worked with continue to be an inspiration to me. St. Julie, Foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame De Namur, is still relevant today when she said many years ago, "In the schools teach whatever is necessary to equip the students for life." Here at Trinity School, I am a part of a wonderful team of teachers, tutors, administrators, and staff working together to give individual students what they need for life.
Why Mrs. Haskell loves Trinity: Trinity School is a wonderful place to work because I truly feel appreciated and valued. The Trinity community consisting of the administration, teachers, staff, parents, and students is a unique community of people who are caring and sharing and I am proud to be a part of it.
What is your favorite way to spend the summer and why? I enjoy spending my summers in New Hampshire working as a camp counselor at Camp Deerwood. The camp inspired me to become a teacher and it is a lot of fun working with kids outside the classroom!
Mrs. Howard's special place: Ocean City in the fall. The weather is still warm, the rates are lower, and there are fewer people. I feel like I'm in another world and can really relax.
Mrs. Hutton's favorite place: My favorite place is a wooded campsite in the mountains with plenty of space around me, a campfire, a book, and hiking trails to enjoy with my husband and my dog.
Mrs. Jenkins' favorite way to spend the summer: My favorite way to spend the summer is traveling with my family. I love to explore new places and experience new cultures.
Mrs. Johns' favorite way to spend the summer: My favorite way to spend the summer is at the beach. I love the warm breezes and playing in the sand and water with my children. It is the most relaxing place to be with my family.
Mrs. King's favorite hobby: I love to read!
What Señora MacDonald likes most about teaching at Trinity: I love teaching at Trinity because the students are motivated to learn. I feel most inspired when I overhear my students talking to their classmates about my Spanish class in the hallway, cafeteria, or at recess.
What Mr. McCormick likes most about teaching at Trinity: I love working in an environment where our Catholic faith is an integral part of our daily life.
What Mrs. McEwen likes most about working at Trinity: What I enjoy most about working at Trinity are the students, faculty, and the love and dedication they have to making Trinity successful. My favorite way to spend my summer is with my family & friends traveling, or just being outdoors and enjoying each day as if it were my last.
Mrs. Meyer's favorite hobby: Reading. Reading opens up new worlds to all of us.
Mrs. Moran's teaching philosophy: I consider teaching a privilege. It's an awesome responsibility to be entrusted with children for a year of their life. My passion is to help each one develop an appreciation for the way they were uniquely created. I recognize that years from now they might not remember my name, or the bits of information I taught, but I know without a shadow of a doubt, they will always carry an indelible feeling about school that was forged during these early years.
Mrs. Moulding's special hobby: One of my favorite hobbies is visiting our nation's National Parks. We have been fortunate enough to experience over 30 of the 58 parks, among our favorites being Mount Rainier, the Grand Tetons, and the Grand Canyon. Since we have more time in the summer and many parks are only accessible then, we tend to travel during those months. Viewing the grandeur of majestic mountains, breathtaking canyons and thundering waterfalls provides us with serenity to last a lifetime.
Mrs. O'Malley's favorite activities: One favorite hobby is reading. It relaxes me and I am exposed to different places, people, and ideas. I also enjoy running and biking. I exercise with friends and our socializing makes the time fly by.
How Mrs. Palese likes to spend her summers: One of my very favorite things to do during the summer is watch baseball. I have been an avid Oriole fan since I was ten. I have lots of great memories going to games at Memorial Stadium with my family and friends. My sister and I go to all the Sunday home games at Camden Yards. GO ORIOLES!
What inspires Sister Catherine: I am inspired by God's goodness expressed in all people. I love nurturing the gifts of others. I enjoy cooking and reading - both are good outlets and relaxing.
What Nathan Printz likes most about teaching at Trinity: I love teaching at Trinity because the students, parents, and faculty here are passionate about learning. Trinity has a great community feel that brings everyone together. I feel like I can really make a difference here.
What makes Mrs. Rafferty feel creative: Designing the art curriculum around an art history theme each year becomes an art form for my own creativity. Surrounding the students with great artists' work inspires them to be at their best creatively.
Señora Redmond's favorite way to spend the summer: My favorite way to spend the summer is to do things outdoors because I miss the warm, sunny days during the winter. I like to go to the beach, the zoo, the park or just go for a walk in my neighborhood.
What Mr. Rickbeil enjoys most about teaching at Trinity: I enjoy working with the kids! Teaching kids about God is a thrill, and watching them grow up over the four years I get to teach them is a special privilege. The kids make me excited to come to work each morning.
Why Mrs. Rinehart loves Trinity: Trinity is a wonderful place to teach because of the community of people that make up our schoolstudents and their families, staff, and faculty. Our campus is a beautiful and peaceful place. My students and I have access to advanced technology that enhances my classroom instruction. I have a great commitment to Catholic education and I love that religious values are instilled at this school.
On returning to Trinity: My first day as a teacher at Trinity was like coming home. My pride in being a Trinity graduate has come full circle to now be a part of the team of teachers, staff and administrators that provide children with the tools to grow in knowledge and a love of learning. The teachers truly love their students and see them as God's unique and beautiful creations. The campus is a daily show of God's awesome work. The continuous efforts of the whole Trinity family are what give the children the foundation of faith, knowledge, and values that provides students with the skills they need for life.
Mrs. Soares' favorite place: My favorite place is the beach, I love sitting on the beach with my feet in the sand, people watching.
Why Mrs. Spiegel loves working at Trinity: I love the dedication and devotion that all of the employees have for the school. It is a very caring and nurturing environment for the students.
Get to know Mrs. Stauffer: I come from a family of teacher's and have always known that this was my path in life. I also attended all small Catholic schools for my entire educational experience, so Trinity has been a great fit for me! Besides finding a path in teaching and being amazed and inspired by my students and my own child every day, I also find my enjoyment, strength, motivation and self in music and singing. Melodies and words can express a lot and there's a song for any situation!
Why the summer camp is special to Mrs. Sweeney: I have been directing Trinity's Summer Program for 13 years. Many of our campers return to Trinity every summer which means I have the opportunity to watch them change and grow from year to year. A few of them have even become camp counselors. I am inspired when a child tells me they love to come to Trinity Summer Camp.
What Mrs. Vicchio likes most about teaching at Trinity: I love working and teaching at Trinity because I get to do something I enjoy so much every day teach young children! Why Mrs. Yee loves teaching at Trinity: One of the benefits of teaching at Trinity is that the campus is situated in a beautiful, almost isolated setting. I love being surrounded by the natural beauty here and I believe that this helps me to enhance my math lessons. I feel that students need to understand how and why mathematics is so important in our world and the natural beauty of Trinity inspires me to incorporate nature and science into the math curriculum.
What Mrs. Zaron likes most about working at Trinity: The incredible faculty and staff - everyone is very supportive and caring. It is a place filled with love and laughter.
