Financial Assistance Program

THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS NOVEMBER 15, 2008. (Per School & Student Services, access to the application is not available prior to this date.)

In association with School & Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) the following steps must be completed by the deadlines so that your report will be available to the Financial Aid Committee of the Board of Trustees. The deadlines given should be used as the last possible date to submit your application. Once the application is received at SSS they will need time to process your application and submit the information back to us.

The Financial Aid Committee will meet on or about February 10, 2009. Members of the committee are not affiliated with the school community. Approximately 20% of our students receive financial aid. We hold your application for financial aid in strict confidence and do not consider it in our admission process. Letters of approval and/or denial will be mailed to all applicants prior to the March 1st deadline for enrollment deposits.

Current Financial Aid Recipients

All current financial aid recipients will receive notification via U.S. Mail in November to complete the Renewal Applicant Questionnaire for Sr. Catherine and the Parents Financial Statement from School & Student Services.

New Financial Aid Applicants

Financial Aid Procedure: All steps must be completed in this order.

Step 1: Complete the Trinity New Applicant Questionnaire and submit it to kspiegel@trinityschoolmd.org.

Deadline: In our office by January 5, 2009.

Step 2: Complete the Parents Financial Statement from School & Student Service (SSS). If you have any questions, please call the SSS helpline at (866) 387-2601.

Deadline: Submitted by January 5, 2009.

Step 3: As soon as completed, send a copy of your 2008 tax return in a sealed envelope to Trinity School, Attn: Sr. Catherine Phelps "Financial Aid - Confidential".
