ABOUT OUR CAMP

Trinity Summer Camp is located in Ellicott City on our private 48 acre campus. We are a licensed Maryland camp offering weekly themed sessions for families to register by the week- for one week or all summer! Our regular camp hours run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, but extended care is available during mornings (7:30 am) and afternoons (until 5:00 pm). Our professional staff and low staff-to-camper ratios allow each camper to have the most fun in a safe, supervised environment.

Trinity promotes teamwork and cooperation, and fosters a sense of responsibility and equality. We strive to provide campers with a fun-filled summer, while building friendships and memories to last them a lifetime. Many of our campers return each summer, and we are very fortunate to have some of them working at camp as counselors now!

Registration for Summer 2024 will open on January 3rd!

PreK 1/2 Day Program:
Campers entering PreK may attend for the full day session (9 am - 4 pm) OR register for our NEW 1/2 DAY program (9 am - 1 pm).
PreK 1/2 Day Campers will eat lunch at camp and will then be dismissed at 1 pm so they can have rest time at home. This is a great option for campers who don't sleep well in group settings, or would feel more comfortable to rest at home. PreK 1/2 Day Campers will still have the option to register for AM Care and lunch options through our online registration system.

For additional information on any camp sessions, please contact Kelly Gorewitz
at [email protected] or 443-498-5093.

Day Camp: Pre-K (at least 3.5 years old) to rising 5th Graders
Our Day Camp is planned based on weekly camp themes, such as Summer Scientists, Under the Sea, DisneyWeek, Animal Adventures, Space Explorers, and Trinity Olympics. Campers spend their day between the classrooms and our outdoor spaces to work on projects, games, and activities based around the weekly theme.

Middle School Camp: Rising 6th - 8th Graders
The Middle School group will participate in some of the same themes as Day Camp, but with specific age-appropriate activities. Some themes specific to the Middle School group will include a week-long Art Studio, learning about being a Future Camp Counselor, and Cooking Week- our most popular week!

Sports Camp: Rising 3rd - 8th Graders
Sport Camp will be offered to rising 3rd through 8th graders and campers will be divided into age appropriate groups. We will feature a “Sport of the Week” which campers will focus on throughout the week. Activities will not be limited to games based on the theme. Weekly activities also include capture the flag, kickball, relays, and water slide fun! We promote physical fitness, develop athletic skills, sportsmanship, and confidence. Weekly themes will include soccer, basketball, floor hockey, net games, and of course- Trinity Olympics!

Extended Care

Before Care is offered every morning from 7:30-9:00 am.
After Care is offered every afternoon (except the very last day of camp) from 4:00-5:00 pm.
Parents must register for Before and/or After Care for the full week, not single days.

During Before Care, campers will be supervised in an air conditioned space. Games, toys, and art supplies should be provided from home for use during this time.  During After Care, campers will have the opportunity to spend time outside (weather permitting) and in air conditioned classrooms.  The gym and other options may be available at times. All activities are fully supervised.

Late Pick-up Policy: All Trinity Campers must be picked up by their parent/legal guardian or authorized pick-up person at the time arranged during registration. Children picked up AFTER the arranged time incur a $20 fee for the first 10 minutes, and $2 for each additional minute - per child. Please remember: We staff our camp according to the number of children registered, and are required to pay our staff additional funds when they stay late to supervise campers.

Trinity Camp Staff

Regardless of which camp you choose, parents can rest assured that their children will spend their summer having fun, meeting friends, and experiencing new and exciting activities. Our professional staff include teachers who oversee camp planning and activities, and supervise our college-aged head counselors and college and high school-aged counselors.

All Camp Directors are CPR and First Aid certified. All camp employees complete a full background check.

We will begin hiring for Summer 2024 in January!

We are always interested in having new counselors join our team! You must be motivated, responsible, trustworthy, and enjoy working with children. If you are interested in working at Trinity Summer Camp, please complete our Employment Application and submit it to Kelly Gorewitz at [email protected]

We also accept a limited number of CITs (Counselors in Training) for our summer program. CITs must be entering 9th or 10th grade, and very interested in gaining valuable experience helping with our campers. Interested CITs must complete a CIT Application and submit it to Camp Director Kelly Gorewitz at [email protected] for review and approval. Please keep in mind that we do have a very limited number of applicants we are able to accept.
