Trinity School's Trinity Trot
 

The Trinity Trot is a long-standing fundraiser here at Trinity where students run or walk laps and ask donors to sponsor them. The funds that are raised are used to enhance the sports and technology programs at Trinity.  The students love this event and it shows through their enthusiasm and determination. 



The Trinity Trot will be held on
Wednesday April 20th - rain, shine, hot or cold!

Each class will prepare a creative class letter to send to family and friends. The Boosters Committee will make copies of each student’s letter and mail them to the list that you provide.  Pre-K+/Primary/MS students may be sponsored either per lap or flat rate donation.  Pre-school students may be sponsored with a flat rate donation since we do not track their laps.  

 

This is a school event, so all students will participate on race day. The children may move at their own pace and stop for water as needed.  It's an opportunity for the kids to get some great exercise and raise money for our school.  The students should wear athletic clothing and sneakers and bring a water bottle to school that day.  Parents and family members may join us for any part of race day as either spectators or race volunteers. Volunteer sign-up will come at a later date.

*Parents may volunteer to help on race day, but may not run or walk with their child(ren).

We will have primary/MS student race awards once results are tallied.  All pre-schoolers will receive special participation stickers. 

 

How can you help?  To start, we need you to submit a list of family and friends who may want to sponsor your child (you may submit the same list for all children).  In staying with Trinity’s “going green” efforts, we are encouraging parents to submit their data in an electronic format.  Please find a link to a blank spreadsheet in the right column for new families and families who wish to submit addresses electronically. 
Providing a sponsor sheet is optional for your family.  

 

If you have provided an address file in the past and have updates, additions or deletions to your file from the previous year you can either:
1) Send an email to Lisa Brousseau at
[email protected] and request your file from last year.  It will be emailed to you, and you make the changes and send it back. 
2) Send an email to Lisa Brousseau at
[email protected] and tell her your changes.  For example, change Barb Smith's address to 123 Maple St. or please remove John Smith from my file.

If you do not have any changes to your file, do nothing.  We will automatically use your file from the previous year.

If you do not wish to participate, you MUST send an email to Lisa Brousseau at [email protected] and say "Please do not use my file from last year”.

Sponsor files are due on March 9th.
