Technology

Trinity's technology program prepares students to use technology effectively and safely in academic, personal and future professional settings. Our educators use Learn360® video streaming service, which offers the largest selection of educational media products. As students advance through each grade level, they are exposed to a technology curriculum that covers programs and subject material such as:

  • Kidspiration
  • Internet Safety Unit and Use
  • Mickey's Typing
  • Cyber Bullying
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Social Networking
  • Keyboarding
  • Texting/Instant Messaging
  • Research
  • Blog and Wiki Applications

Our secure web-based educational experience is complemented by a mobile computer lab delivering 24 iPads to any middle school classroom. The middle school computer lab is equipped with 25 computers. There is also a mobile cart with 24 laptops for use in the middle school classrooms.  The primary school is equipped with 25 HP laptops for computer instruction. Each classroom has an additional six HP laptops for individual or group use. iPads are also available for classroom use in the primary school.

All classrooms in both the primary and middle schools have interactive white boards and ceiling-mounted short throw projectors. With the receipt of a generous grant from the Marion I. and Henry J. Knott Foundation, every seventh and eighth grader has the use of an iPad. Teachers throughout the entire school enjoy the use of an iPad for additional instructional purposes. Both the primary and middle schools are wireless.
