The Trinity School campus provides students with two full outdoor basketball courts, and two full-size sports fields and a large, well-tended and modernly equipped playground that includes a rock climbing wall and a basketball chute recently added by the Booster Club.
For indoor recreation, the school has a spacious gymnasium. Trinity's physical education program also offers students all of the equipment needed to play flag football, soccer, basketball, floor hockey, baseball, tetherball and many other sports. Besides the regular physical education classes, an intramural program is held every Wednesday afternoon for students in Grades 3 through eight and an afternoon sports program is scheduled on Tuesday afternoons for middle school students. Trinity students enjoy a comprehensive team basketball program from the first grade basketball clinic to the competitive and enthusiastic Trinity Tiger basketball teams for boys and girls from second to eighth grades. The Trinity Athletic Committee and dedicated parent volunteers assist yearly with our physical education program.
Mr. Frank John has been Trinity School's physical education director for 3 years. Mr. John graduated from Baptist Bible College, in Clarks Summit, PA, with a B.S. Degree in Physical Education and Biblical Studies.
Some faculty provide additional coaching.
Plans for the future of our physical education program include forming an interscholastic soccer program to compete with other schools and expanding the lacrosse program. For the short-term, the school is planning the purchase of additional lacrosse equipment and expanding the physical fitness program.
