Trinity's Technology Department is headed by Mrs. Aileen Stauffer, Technology Coordinator and science teacher and Mrs. Anne Howard who is also our media center specialist. Department members meet at least once every trimester to discuss the current methodologies, tools, and resources of the school in order to evaluate goals for the ongoing development of technological skills. The department is committed to researching, evaluating, and implementing the best practices in technology and building a community of learners that fosters a safe and balanced approach to the use of technology.
Trinity's Technology program prepares students to use technology effectively and safely in academic, personal and future professional settings. Our educators use Learn360® video streaming service, which offers the largest selection of educational media products from the best producers in the English-speaking world. As students advance through each grade level, they are exposed to a technology curriculum that covers programs and subject material such as:
| Inspiration | Internet Safety Unit and Use |
| Maxwrite | Cyber Bullying |
| Microsoft Office | Social Networking |
| Keyboarding | Texting/Instant Messaging |
| Research | Blog and Wiki Applications |

A school wide technology night is held to showcase all of the wonderful projects the school and students have worked on to build a state-of-the-art technology program.
Our secure web based educational experience is complemented by a mobile computer lab delivering 24 fully charged laptops to any classroom. Primary and middle school computer labs are each equipped with 25 computers and were recently hardwired and updated with new pod stations and carpet. Almost 100% of our monitors are now flat screen.
As Web 2.0 technologies progress and improve, the students will be educated in the appropriate use of social networking. Plans are in place to acquire a second mobile lab with 24 additional computers. Many grade level teachers will acquire online textbooks as another tool for students to use in various subject areas.
