Trinity Extended Day Program (Club TED)

Staff

Our staff members are caring individuals with energy and enthusiasm. They range in age from high school seniors to senior citizens. Each offers special gifts to the children and many of our loving associates have worked at Club TED for a number of years.

Club TED offers a great counselor-to-child ratio - much lower than the 15-child to one leader ratio required by Maryland state law. When you have your children in Club TED, you have them in capable and patient hands.

Club TED is a licensed after-school program offering a nurturing and fun-filled environment. Our program includes a balance of structured activities, free play, and homework time. Sports, games, movies and arts and crafts are part of our daily curriculum. We also enjoy holiday parties, such as the pumpkin patch party at Halloween and the Easter Egg Hunt and Pizza party. We have several theme weeks throughout the year. These include a fantasy trip to the islands in mid-winter during "Luau Week," Insect Week, when we all go a little bit "buggy" and Cinco de Mayo Week in May. Other special events include outreach projects to the Grassroots homeless shelter and local retirement communities, the "Pot O Gold" treasure hunt during St. Patrick's week and the annual TED TOG (Tournament of Games). Middle School students may participate in the TED Times, Club TED's newspaper and fifth and sixth grade students may spend some of their Club TED time earning school service points.

Facilities & Hours

Club TED is located on the ground level of St. Joseph's Hall. There is a homework center as well as games and arts and crafts centers. Children also make use of the gym, cafeteria, and school grounds. Club TED operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 8:15 and from dismissal until 6 p.m., whenever school is open. Flexible fixed schedules are available (no drop-ins). Club TED is closed on some school holidays and snow days. Call (410) 455-9825 for specific schedule information.
