Weekly Theme Descriptions

Week 1:  June 13 - 17
SUPERHEROES – Campers will share what super powers they have themselves, and also create their very own Superhero this week. Will they have special powers or come from another planet? Is there a campus villain?  Campers could also design a comic book about their Superhero, design their own capes, or make fun superhero masks!

Week 2:  June 20 - 24
BEACH WEEK - This week, we will bring the beach to Trinity Summer Camp! Campers will pretend they are on a beach vacation with fun games and activities related to this special place. Groups could create a class mural of a beach scene, paint their own ocean animals, decorate sea shells, or play beach ball games with their friends!

Week 3:  June 27 - July 1
SUMMER SCIENTISTS - Our campers will get to explore their scientific side this week with fun experiments from all areas of science! We know our campers love to ask questions and test theories, so this week is their chance! Camp groups may do experiments with mixing colors, testing magnets, or learning how sound travels through different objects.
Week 4:  July 5 - 8  (Closed Monday)
ALL ABOUT NATURE – During this 4-day week at camp, campers will explore a different season (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring) each day of the week! On Tuesday, we will continue the 4th of July celebration by embracing the Summer season! We will celebrate Fall on Wednesday, Winter on Thursday, and Spring on Friday! Some project ideas may include beach ball games, pumpkin crafts, designing snowmen, or creating tie-dye butterflies.

Week 5:  July 11 - 15
ANIMAL ADVENTURES featuring "Wildlife Adventures" Wildlife Adventures will be back on campus this week and campers will participate in a fun-filled workshop.  They will bring many different kinds of animals for campers to hold and learn about!  Campers may also build animal dioramas in various habitats, make animal puppets, or play animal charades to express their inner animals!

Week 6:  July 18 - 22
SPACE EXPLORERS  – This week campers will have fun with outer space projects that will be out of this world!  Activities may include building a space shuttle, making mobile solar systems, paper mache planets, creating aliens for their planets, or participating in a planet scavenger hunt around our campus.

Week 7:  July 25 - 29
ACT IT OUT – Campers will explore their dramatic side this week at camp! We know our campers love to showcase their special talents, and we love seeing it all! Camp groups could put together a talent show or mini production, design sets and props, or perform skits for other camp groups at the end of the week.

Week 8:  August 1 - 5
TRINITY OLYMPICS - During our last week of camp, all groups will participate in week-long field day events.  Each group will choose a country to celebrate and we begin the week with our very own opening ceremony. Everyone will complete in different events like relay races, tug-of-war, balloon toss, cheer contests, and many more.  We will wrap up the summer with a closing ceremony of the country flags and host a block party featuring game stations, a water slide, and lots of dancing.

Planning for the upcoming summer is still in progress, and certain programs may be subject to change due to COVID-19 protocols.
