The Trinity School Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) program is grounded in a loving, nurturing, Christian atmosphere of acceptance, recognizing each child as a unique individual created and gifted by God. Our program provides a bridge for the student between home and school, playing a significant role in the physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social development of the child. Our curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate practice utilizing an integrated thematic approach to learning. It is designed to facilitate a smooth transition into, and success in Kindergarten.

Trinity's Pre-Kindergarten program consists of three levels:
Pre-K3: for children who are 3 years old by September 1
Pre-K4: for children who are 4 years old by September 1
K-Transitional: for children turning 5 in the summer or older 4-year old children who are ready for more advanced Pre-K4 curriculum.

Kindergarten Transitional program is a unique program with 10-14 students in the class and is taught by two teachers: a certified elementary teacher and an assistant teacher. It offers Pre-K and Kindergarten curriculum in a mixed age group setting. The program is good for students who have not met the September 1 Kindergarten age cut-off, or those children who may benefit from an extra year to gain certain cognitive, social, or motor skills. The small class size offers children the opportunity to feel comfortable, have their social and academic needs met on an individual basis, and foster a spirit of community and cooperation. Children who attend the program move on to Kindergarten well prepared.
