Technology


Technology education is integrated into all aspects of Trinity’s curriculum, with the goal of preparing students to use technology effectively and safely in academic, personal and future professional settings. As students advance through each grade, they are exposed to programs and subject matter including:

  • Microsoft Office 365 Products
  • Internet Safety
  • Cyber Bullying
  • Social Networking
  • Keyboarding Skills
  • Coding
  • Robotics
  • Internet and Database Research

All middle school students are also issued a Microsoft Surface laptop. 3rd and 4th grades have classroom sets of HP laptops and K-2 have classroom sets of iPads. The school also has 3D printers, Sphero and Lego Mindstorm robots.

Classrooms in both the primary and middle schools have interactive white boards and ceiling-mounted short throw projectors. Some classrooms are also equipped with BenQ interactive monitors. All building have Wi-Fi access on a secure network.

Department members meet with the Administrative Team at least bi-monthly to discuss the current methodologies, tools, and resources of the school in order to evaluate goals for the ongoing development of technological skills. The department is committed to researching, evaluating, and implementing the best practices in technology and building a community of learners that fosters a safe and balanced approach to the use of technology.
