Annual Giving

Trinity School is a unique and gifted community offering excellence in education. Your commitment and support of the school are vital in ensuring our level of standards to meet our various needs beyond what tuition alone can provide. Annual Giving plays a major role in maintaining and enhancing the excellence of Trinity School's programs.  Complex demands of education in the 21st century have placed increasing burdens on schools that tuition does not cover, and we must act now to ensure future financial stability and flexibility of Trinity School; faculty professional development programs; state-of-the-art technology; physical plant improvements are but a few of the ways that Annual Giving funds work to provide Trinity students with a solid educational foundation. Each donation supports and enhances our environment of excellence, tradition, talent and spirit. The Trinity community deeply appreciates each donation and the support it extends to our mission of providing children with what they need for life.

Annual Giving FAQ

What is Annual Giving?

Annual Giving is the most important source of income for Trinity other than tuition. It is an opportunity for all of the Trinity Family, not just parents, to invest in Trinity's superior educational program.

Why does Trinity need Annual Giving?

Annual Giving allows us to have a stronger educational program than we would have with tuition alone.

Does my gift make a difference?

Absolutely! Your gift makes a difference in the following ways:

  • Participation - In 2017, Trinity was awarded $82,500 from the Marion I and Henry J. Knott Foundation. In 2012 Trinity was awarded $81,000 from the Marion I and Henry J. Knott Foundation. Parent participation was in large part responsible for the Knott Foundation's eager support of Trinity. This award was used to upgrade Trinity's network infrastructure, provide wireless internet service to a significant part of Trinity's campus and allowed Trinity to purchase 100 iPads for use by the middle school faculty and the 7th and 8th grade students. Also purchased were wireless printers, iPad applications and other necessary tools to allow Trinity to maintain its "state of the art" approach to technology in teaching and learning. Because of this award, budget money was able to be used to purchase needed short throw projectors for classrooms, Apple TVs for the middle school and additional netbooks for the primary school so that each primary homeroom has at least 3 netbooks to be used as each teacher decides. Additionally, equipment that previously was used in the middle school network was able to be moved to the primary school to improve the network infrastructure in those buildings. All this was made possible because 67% of the parents of Trinity said yes to Annual Giving.
  • In 2007 Trinity was awarded $45,000 from the Marion I. and Henry J. Knott Foundation and $5,000 from Raskob Foundation for Catholic Activities to fund the Julie Program for students with learning differences.

Why we choose to give...

"The greatest strength of Trinity is the accelerated academic program. Trinity also excels in the area of equipping students with cutting edge technology. A Trinity student is a well-rounded person spiritually, mentally, and academically. In my experience, Trinity's doors are always open and the teachers extend themselves to ensure their students' needs are met."
