The Admissions Process

To be considered for admission into Trinity School, please complete the following steps:

For Preschool:

(Students applying for Preschool must be 3 or 4 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year.)
  1. Complete our Inquiry Form so we know you're interested.
  2. Attend an Open House or take a private tour.
  3. Submit an application with a non-refundable $100 fee. If your child has an IEP it must be submitted to the Admissions Office along with the application. 
  4. Submit a copy of child's birth certificate.
  5. If child has been enrolled in daycare or preschool, please have the daycare director or preschool teacher fill out this form and submit directly to the Admissions Office - AIMS Common Referral Form Grades PK-1.
  6. Students attend an Exploration Day. This is a day to bring your child in to the existing preschool class so we can learn more about the child while you gather more information about our program and teachers. Contact the Admissions Office for available dates.

Please Note: All students must be independently toilet-trained by the first day of school. Diapers and Pull-Ups are not permitted.


For Kindergarten:

(Students applying for Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year.)
  1. Please complete our Inquiry Form so we know you're interested.
  2. Attend an Open House or take a private tour.
  3. Submit an application with a non-refundable $100 fee. If your child has an IEP it must be submitted to the Admissions Office along with the application.
  4. Upload a copy of child's birth certificate, and submit progress report from preschool, if applicable.
  5. Have the daycare director or preschool teacher fill out the AIMS Common Referral Form Grades PK-1 and submit directly to the Admissions Office.
  6. All applicants complete a Kindergarten screening in March.

For Grades 1-4:

  1. Please complete our Inquiry Form so we know you're interested.
  2. Attend an Open House or take a private tour.
  3. Submit an application with a non-refundable $100 fee.  If your child has an IEP it must be submitted to the Admissions Office along with the application. 
  4. Upload a copy of child's birth certificate.
  5. Have a current teacher submit teacher recommendation AIMS Common Referral Form Grades 2-8 directly to the Admissions Office.
  6. Students in grades 4-8 are encouraged to shadow for a day at Trinity School. Contact the Admissions Office to schedule.
  7. Submit copies of the last two years of student's report cards, and results of the most recent standardized testing.
  8. Complete an assessment in reading, writing, and math. The Director of Primary School will contact you for a mutually agreeable date/time.

For Grades 5-8:

  1. Please complete our Inquiry Form so we know you're interested.
  2. Attend an Open House or take a private tour.
  3. Submit an application with a non-refundable $100 fee. If your child has an IEP it must be submitted to the Admissions Office along with the application.  
  4. Upload a copy of child's birth certificate.
  5. Have a current teacher submit the teacher recommendation AIMS Common Referral Form Grades 2-8 directly to the Admissions Office.
  6. Contact the Admissions Office to schedule a Student Shadow Day.
  7. Submit copies of the last two years of a student's report cards, and results of the most recent standardized testing.
  8. All middle school applicants interview with the Director of Middle School, and submit a writing sample. The Director of Middle School will contact you for a mutually agreeable date/time.

For Julie & TASP Students:

  1. In addition to all of the steps above, please also provide most recent complete educational evaluation (psychological, neuropsychological, etc.). If student is entering K-1st grades, a speech-language evaluation may suffice.
  2. After reviewing the student's file, the Director of the Julie Program may require additional screening.
  3. The Director of the Julie Program may also request a parent interview to get more information about the student's strengths and needs.
